Accomplishments

  1. Discussed More Game Design (Tim, Rex, Dax, Chris)
  2. Implemented initial tower code (Rex)
  3. Cleaned up GameRenderer?, moved gui code into entity class (Rex, Chris)
  4. Performance Optimizations. Got Triangle, Square primitive working (big speed improvement)(Chris)
  5. Particle effect factory extensive updates in efficiency, and awesomeness (Dax)
  6. Map class, map drawing (Tim)

Goals and Priorities

Short Term

  1. Continue game engine development
    1. Particle effect alpha, initial effect size implementation (Dax - due Mar 16)
    2. Additional optimization (mouse, (Chris - due Mar 16)
    3. Map pathing, tower firing (Tim - due Mar 16)
    4. Place towers, tower firing, improve tower and game info representation, create additional buttons(Rex - due Mar 16)

Long Term

  1. Get pathing, firing, and basic game working (Tim)
  2. Work on Scoring Algorithms (Chris)
  3. GUI design wrapup, tower implementation (Rex)
  4. Special Effects work - Particle System and explosions (Dax)
